in the "Golden Pinnacle" Green Development Practices 2025 by

China Business Network for its pioneering

"Container Carbon Footprint & Environmental Product Declaration Platform" (CFP&EPD),

the world's first of its kind.

This platform not only

sets a new benchmark for green development in the container manufacturing industry

but also provides a replicable and practical reference for

promoting collaborative carbon reduction across the container industry chain.

As the world's second-largest container manufacturer, COSCO SHIPPING Development has innovatively launched the world's first "Container Carbon Footprint & Environmental Product Declaration (CFP&EPD) Platform," aiming to collaboratively develop green technologies and products through a low-carbon alliance, fostering the ecological and integrated development of industrial chain clusters. The platform adheres to the principles of "standards - led, data - driven, and collaborative innovation," establishing an environmental performance management system that encompasses the entire process from raw materials to manufacturing and transportation.

Up to now, it has collaborated with over a hundred industrial chain enterprises to jointly engage in the platform's development, collectively releasing 8 product category rules and 60 certification reports. The "Container CFP&EPD Certification Label" has been applied to over 350,000 containers, setting a replicable low-carbon manufacturing paradigm for the industry and effectively nurturing a carbon-reduction ecosystem.

Against the backdrop of global climate governance and China's "dual carbon" goals,

green and low-carbon development has shifted beyond the confines of individual enterprises,

evolving into a systemic endeavor that

requires collective participation from the entire society.

The 2025 "Golden Pinnacle" Case Collection Campaign, organized by China National Radio Finance and themed "Mapping the '15th Five-Year Plan' and Igniting Fresh Momentum," leverages the resources of CNR Network and the expertise of the Golden Pinnacle Think Tank. It focuses on gathering exemplary cases across key sectors, establishing precise submission guidelines, standardizing review procedures, and enhancing the translation of outcomes to create a benchmark platform for best practices. This initiative is designed to spur the advancement of new-quality productive forces. Following a rigorous process encompassing application collection, document review, and expert evaluation, the final list of selected cases has been determined.
