From 10 to 12 July 2025, the Forum of Maritime Day of China and its main celebrations were successfully held in Bo'ao, Hainan. During the event, China COSCO SHIPPING joined China Communications News to host the Port & Shipping Enterprise Development Forum, launched the cultural voyage of the "New Hongzhuan" and presented a vibrant Maritime Culture Market and a series of other exciting maritime-themed activities.

On the morning of 11 July, at the Main Forum of 2025 Maritime Day of China and Opening Ceremony—whose theme is "Green Navigation, Toward New Strengths”—Mr. Zhu Bixin, Director, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of China COSCO SHIPPING, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Digital-Intelligent Logistics Chains Connecting the World.” Mr. Zhu Bixin stated that in recent years China COSCO SHIPPING has proactively embraced the green, low-carbon and intelligent trends reshaping the shipping industry. Leveraging digital technologies, China COSCO SHIPPING is forging new supply-chain models; guided by artificial intelligence, it is building new industry platforms; and with green development as its lever, it is creating a sustainable new ecosystem. All of these efforts actively support China's drive to become a leading maritime, transport and trading nation. Going forward, China COSCO SHIPPING will fully advance the construction of three major platforms—a global digital supply-chain platform, a whole-life-cycle digitally intelligent vessel-operation platform and a global talent-development platform—to extend digital-intelligent logistics chains worldwide and contribute China's shipping strength in the new era to global trade and prosperity. Mr. Zhang Mingwen, Chairman, Party Secretary and General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Development, and Ms. Hu Yanfang, Deputy General Manager of the company, also attended the Maritime Day Main Forum.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Marine Finance and Insurance Forum was successfully held. Stakeholders from across the sector exchanged ideas on how to improve quality and empower the development of a new paradigm for high-end shipping services, as well as on exploration and cooperation in shipping finance. Mr. Sun Yunfei, Deputy General Manager and Chief Accountant of the China COSCO SHIPPING, delivered a keynote speech. Mr. Zhang Mingwen, Chairman, and Ms. Hu Yanfang, Deputy General Manager, of COSCO SHIPPING Development attended the forum.

From 10 to 12 July, at the maritime-themed market "Meet the Sea," COSCO SHIPPING Development showcased various types of container exhibits, hosted lively quizzes and brainstorming interactions, drawing enthusiastic participation from delegates and the public， the atmosphere was electric.

On the afternoon of 10 July, the Hainan Free Trade Port matchmaking session on “Shipping Finance Innovation & Ship Financial Leasing" took place in Bo'ao. COSCO SHIPPING Development's subsidiaries—Hainan COSCO SHIPPING Development Shipping Co., Ltd. and Florens International Ltd.—each signed cooperation agreements with the Haikou Jiangdong New Area Administration, injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port's shipping industry.
