On September 20, a delegation led by Mr. Hans Nagtegaal, Senior Director of Port of Rotterdam Authority, visited COSCO SHIPPING Development and held talks with Ming Dong, Deputy General Manager of the Company.

Ming Dong, Deputy General Manager of the Company warmly welcomed Mr. Hans Nagtegaal and his delegation, he introduced the Company's electric container ship 700TEU of the Yangtze River main route and its charging and swapping network. Mr. Hans Nagtegaal introduced the progress of the vessel electrification in Port of Rotterdam, indicating that China and Netherlands have similar basic conditions for the promotion and application of electric vessels. He expressed hope for enhanced exchange and cooperation between industrial clusters in the field of vessel electrification.

　　Both parties engaged in extensive discussions concerning net-zero carbon emissions and carbon emissions reduction for shipping, particularly the development of pure electric power vessels, and conducted in-depth discussions on the feasibility and cooperation path of vessel electrification.

　　Dr. Zou Junshan, Chief Representative for Port of Rotterdam in China, and relevant personnel of the Green Water Zero Carbon Project of COSCO SHIPPING Development presented at the meeting.
